Today is Raksha bandhan, a day when sisters tie Rakhi on the wrists of their brothers. Rakhi a symbol of sister's love literally means bond of protection. From time immemorial, this holy thread has held an important place in the history of this mighty land. Its power has saved many a lives, brought people of various religions and faiths together.
Brothers and Sisters of the world, it's time again to spread the message of peace and love..................it's time again to celebrate ties that bind, ties that keeps us all together.
No not me , I am not the devil, please don't fear me It's been bloody tough, hate being called Mr.Negativity Sometimes best ain't good enough, it's only natural to lose all creativity I am tryin', doing the best I can, hold on, don't give up on me....please don't give up on me.
Tomorrow is 15th of August, Indian Independence day. A day when it all comes back to us, we feel a wee bit more patriotic, it feels nice to hear 'Sare jahan se acha Hindustan humara' being played at the near by park, a little later gathering of familiar faces from the neighbourhood, unfurling of Tiranga, and in the end children's favorite part, the sweet distribution. Great fun isn't it ?
Well, not far from the venue of this familiar annual ritual , the story doesn't change at all. 15th August is just another day. Look around, and you'll find that for many the freedom never came. In fact it flew the other way, the wrong way, to somewhere far away.
This one is for the special breed, that is slowly but surely inflicting irreparable damage to the business interest of an organization. Rather than focusing on more burning issues, company's precious time is being wasted on unproductive loose talks, by bunch of morons, who can't think, who are incapable of walking the talk. Trust me, bad run for any organisation is as much an internal people problem at the core, as much it is an external one, brought about by factors beyond organization's control.
Women...Who made them? God must have been a genius.Their hair. They say hair is everything, you know? Have you ever buried your nose in a mountain of curls, and just wanted to go to sleep forever? - Bo Goldman, " The start of an Education," made popular by the movie Scent of a Woman.
Need I say more. These few lines says it all. The real inspiration lies in the long flowing hair of a woman . It's a sight to behold when wind blows and the beautiful hair start to move like a river wild.......AN ENCHANTING MOMENT. ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!
What's this growl about a dog's life? Take it easy. Slow it down. Make the most of your Sunday. Leave that bone for once, and just laze around. Life ain't that bad.
It's been seven long years, but memories of that fateful day will always remain etched in my mind . All I could do that evening was helplessly watch you go away, never to return again. Wherever you are, if your listening, all I ask for is your forgiveness, for all that I couldn't do for you. I wish I could go back in time and be that friend you always longed for.... Someone who would listen to you, someone who would walk beside you.Miss you dad.
India may not find a place in the sporting hall of fame going my the medals tally and the world records, but it does make it to the top, as one of the most corrupt nations yet again. What a shame! The very people, responsible for ensuring the success of the most prestigious and eagerly awaited sporting event The Commonwealth Games, Delhi 2010 have succeeded in maligning the image of India in front of the whole world. Is it surprising? Definitely not. Looking at the track record of our khadi clad political honchos, this isn't a stray episode. India has been taken for a ride by such hoodlums in the past for their selfish gains. They have dirtied the image of this great nation many a times before. And if history is any indication, trust me we haven't seen the last of such heinous acts.... THINK ABOUT IT.
